Hmm, well, as xat said:
First Rabi-tan event is done. There's a small portion that I've adjusted to fit the western audience.
Rabi-tan このよは弱肉強食ですわ!
…
Kuma-tan にく? …たべる?
This may seem somewhat spontaneous at first. This is because the key is in the word:
弱肉強食 = jakunikukyoushoku
So without transliterating (or being even more liberal with the translation), the "niku" part of Kuma's confusion can't exactly be carried over easily. I'm open to suggestions, however for now it is omitted (you can see how in the translation).
I was thinking;
If we wanted to play on words, we could do something like
Rabi-tan: "Basically, you're the meat, and I'm the hungry wolf"
Kuma-tan "Meat? Can I eat it?"
… Because in that sentence niku is the play on words, and niku means meat.
Of course this doesn't stay very true to the direct translation, but conveys a similar joke.
Just a suggestion though, if you have another idea please do post it, the more the better.
